Julia Sloboda

Jules is our newest and shortest term staff member as she’ll be going to grad school this fall. She is from the countryside in Troy, New York where in high school she was a part time preschool teacher and at an Early Intervention Clinic with toddlers with language delays in regards to expressive and receptive language, cleft-palate, aphasia, and phonological/articulation difficulties. She continued this work as she earned her BA in Communication Disorders and Sciences at SUNY. She moved to Seattle as a volunteer for AmeriCorps with the Federal Way Public School District.  She recently moved to Bainbridge to live in Sacred Groves, an intentional community. She is also certified as a Washington state HCA, and provides services with a young girl with ASD as an IP, and is a certified yoga instructor.
